It has already been almost a month since the Super Bowl heartbreak in New Orleans and the Mahomes family seems to be have moved on from what could have been another celebration in the span of a month.

On January 12, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were blessed with their third child, Golden Raye, making their little squad even bigger. While we know how good of a ballplayer Mahomes is, his wife Brittany is even more competitive than the Chiefs’ QB.

“She always is telling me, like, she’s ready to compete just as much as I am,” the 29-year-old said. “I think having that fire, it bleeds through our entire family and it makes us, as a family, so close-knit because Brittany’s going out there and being the one that’s willing to lay it on the line every single day.”

And while you wonder if Brittany should get some rest after giving birth to another baby just six weeks back, the KC Current co-founder is in no mood to slow down even during Mahomes’ offseason.

Last month, even after Mahomes failed to win the three-peat, he made sure to let the Super Bowl defeat not affect his family celebration. “Not only is Patrick a standout football player, changing the game with his talent and integrity both on and off the field,” Jenna, one of Brittany’s friends on Instagram, wrote on Feb. 11, but he’s also redefining what fatherhood looks like—even with a full plate.” 

Well, the new NFL season is not back until September 5 and QB Mahomes is all set to take up the dad duties. Because, to so many, he is the #1 football player, but to three little ones, Mahomes is the #1 dad. “One of the most incredible fathers I’ve had the privilege of working with and for,” Jenna added. And Brittany? Well, the 29-year-old is back being the queen.

Just a month after giving birth, Brittany had Instagram buzzing with her post-baby routines, working, traveling, or casually flexing her post-baby glow to keep her fans updated. She put up a clip of hers on her story, looking all snatched. Her story tells, “Back in the gym with a side of Chickens 🤣😍”. She is at a workout session, with a bunch of hens roaming around. Yeah, that’s what we saw; probably she was at some farmhouse?

She’s up for it all, bringing the energy-hitting workouts, prioritizing self-care, and making it look effortless. Not to forget the businesswoman in her. A co-owner of the Kansas City Current and the brand owner of the ‘Brittany Lynne Fitness’ that offers personalized training programs at all fitness levels. She also collaborated with Shop Vitality to launch the Sterling Skye collection, inspired by her daughter. She’s making big moves alongside bedtime stories.

Brittany also knows how to keep things fun. She’s dropping sneak peeks into her trips, sharing playful Instagram captions, and keeping fans entertained. Her latest? “Work trip with my boo & he got the goods 🤣.” Whether it’s a boujee getaway or a behind-the-scenes look at family life, she’s letting fans in on the Mahomes adventures. Alongside her, Patrick Mahomes has also shifted his role from being the quarterback.

Patrick Mahomes is on full-time girl dad duties

Patrick is a full-time dad now. No cap, we love to see one of the NFL’s greatest QBs holding the baby bottles. Brittany’s latest Insta stories showed Patrick with Golden’s milk bottles. Well, who needs a playbook when you’ve got a diaper bag, right? With Sterling stepping up as a big sister and Brittany sharing adorable clips of their growing family, Patrick is leaning all the way into the ‘girl dad’ role. And if you thought he only had quick reflexes on the field, then you must know, that late-night bottle duty and wrangling a toddler need just as much smooth flow as dodging a blitz.

Even with the Super Bowl fresh loss, Patrick is making time for his kids instead of burying himself in training. The Mahomes family recently took off on a wholesome trip to the Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans. Brittany posted photos of their family moments with her kids, Sterling Skye and Bronze, and hubby Patrick. As he puts it, being a dad to three kids now is motivational, even after being a top-tier athlete.

Don’t get it twisted, his dad mode doesn’t blow out the QB fire in him. According to his teammate Charles Omenihu, Mahomes is already plotting his “revenge tour” for next season. So while he’s currently in full-blown family mode, come September, it’s back to terrorizing defenses and stacking up wins. Chiefs Kingdom, y’all better be ready.
