Those who gathered to watch the show at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday (March 18) were in for a special treat.
Lauren Alaina, Morgan Evans, Steve Earle, Jameson Rodgers, and Jeannie Seely were among the scheduled performers for the night. But the crowd had no clue that two other artists were waiting to surprise them with a performance.
Those two artists turned out to be Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood!
Brooks first appeared onstage on his own. As the crowd cheered, he started singing his lively Top Ten single, “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”
The surprise got even better when Brooks welcomed Yearwood onstage. The couple performed their version of “Shallow,” which they included on Brooks’ 2020 album, Fun.
Look below to see some fan reactions to Brooks and Yearwood’s appearance at the Opry. There are a few videos in the mix, and you don’t want to miss them!

We’re sure those in attendance at the Opry that day will never forget this show!
