“We are thankful that God has entrusted us with a household of little ladies,” said Scott.
Hillary Scott has been pretty quiet on social media lately, and now we know why. The female lead of the country music trio, Lady A has announced that she is pregnant with her fourth child.
She and her husband, Chris Tyrrell, are currently parents to three girls, Eisele Kaye Tyrrell, 11, and her twin girls, Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack, who recently celebrated their seventh birthday. With this exciting news, Scott reveals that their family of five will soon welcome another daughter.
In her social media post, which included a black and white photo of her girls with “big sister” bracelets followed by a bin of clothes labeled “maternity,” Scott revealed that this will be her final pregnancy.
She wrote, “Chris, Eisele, Emory, Betsy, and I are overjoyed to report that this summer our family will be made complete with the most precious little SISTER joining the family. I’m dusting off that Maternity bin from the storage room ONE more time. 😅.”
The songstress made it clear that she and her family are overwhelmed with joy to add another family member to their loving home.
“🩷🩷🩷🩷4 daughters. 🥰 We are thankful that God has entrusted us with a household of little ladies, and I couldn’t be happier that my husband continues his streak as the absolute BEST girl dad, in my opinion!”
“We have been looking forward to this day and covet your prayers for a continued safe and healthy journey getting her here,” Scott added in conclusion with the signature, “Tyrrell Family of SIX.”
The parents to four (soon-to-be six) children first met in college but didn’t start dating until after 2010, when they reconnected while out on the road with Tim McGraw. At that time, Lady A was serving as support on the tour while Tyrell was playing the drums for country duo Love & Theft, who was McGraw’s opening act on the same trek.
Shortly after the pair of musicians began dating and Tyrrell landed a gig drumming for Lady A. Tyrrell dropped down to one knee during a Fourth of July celebration in 2011 and earned a “yes” from Scott. The following year, they said “I do” on January 7, 2012 with an intimate ceremony in upstate New York.
The pair began to grow their family in 2013 when Scott gave birth to their first child, Eisele Kaye, followed by their twins on January 29, 2018. Unfortunately, the lovebirds also faced tragedy amid the excitement with a miscarriage in 2015. In order to cope with her pregnancy loss, Scott turned to music and ended up recording the GRAMMY-nominated song, “Thy Will.”

With music being such a huge part of both of their lives, it’s no surprise that their girls are starting to follow in their footsteps. Scott introduced fans to the musical talents of her oldest daughter when they teamed up to write and record a holiday original, “Hard To Wait For Christmas.”
Eisele Kaye lent her vocals to the heartwarming track in addition to co-writing it with both of her parents.

Last year, Hillary Scott visited fans all across the country alongside her Lady A bandmates for their Request Line Tour. The trio currently has three dates on the books for 2025 and have yet to share any further announcements on upcoming music.
