The first dance is one of the most romantic moments at any wedding. But this couple was stunned by a gift that made it even more memorable: A surprise performance by Kelly Clarkson.

The lucky bride, Stacy, took the dance floor with her new husband and seemed (understandably) a little nervous for their first whirl as newlyweds.
“Honey, we didn’t practice,” she whispers to the groom. “It’s okay,” he assures her as the music begins. Then, the curtain falls, and Kelly begins to croon the first lines of her song “Piece by Piece,” which she wrote about her husband, Brandon Blackstock.
Stacy is (again, understandably) shocked to see Kelly on stage. The couple begins to sway while Stacy is overcome with emotion. “I can’t even stop crying,” she tells her husband, who swears he didn’t set up the private show and promises her that, “it’s okay” for her to cry. Seeing the sweet moment, Kelly herself becomes sentimental and gets choked up. “It’s hard to sing at a wedding!” she tells the guests.
As if we couldn’t love Kelly any more, she proves once again that she’s a wonderful person inside and out. Congrats to the newlyweds!
