Not wanting to focus on just one genre, famed singer Johnny Mathis recorded songs that dabbled in pop, soul, blues, country music, and even disco. Drawing inspiration from singers like Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole, Mathis went on to record hits including “When a Child Is Born”, “My Love For You”, and “Maria.” Receiving a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame, the singer recently announced he was retiring from touring due to ongoing issues with his age and memory.

So, it’s with sincere regret that due to Mr. Mathis’ age and memory issues which have accelerated, we are announcing his retirement from touring and live concerts.”
