Vanna White Makes Shocking Admission About ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Job

Vanna White might step into your living room on a near-daily basis, but the amount of time she spends in the studio bringing her beloved game show to life is likely to surprise you.

During a recent appearance on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, the TV personality revealed that the cast and crew of Wheel of Fortune film for less than a quarter of the year.

“We film about 34 days a year,” she said. “That’s it!”

However, those handfuls of days on set do come with a caveat.

“Yes,” White emphasized as the room broke out in shocked murmurs, “but [it’s] six shows a day! Come on.”

But while Danielle Morano felt for the jam-packed schedule she surely deals with on filming days, Nate Marino, executive producer of the show, said, “I’m sorry, I do not feel sorry for you one bit.”

“That sounds like a great job!” Duran agreed, while Morano added, “That’s six different dresses a day!”

“It is,” White replied.

But Marino couldn’t get past the fact that she has “331 days off a year,” doing the math on his phone’s calculator.

White admitted that while she’d “never looked at it that way,” he wasn’t wrong.

“And you know what, no one deserves it more than you,” Duran praised her.

The revelation stemmed from Marino’s recollection of watching the show when he was younger, at which point he believed it was filmed live every night. ”

“I’m a kid sitting there watching it in my parent’s living room, like, ‘Boy, Vanna looks great tonight, she must have had a good day,’” he recalled. “Come to find out, you filmed that three months ago.”
