Just days after an embarrassing Wheel of Fortune fail, another contestant has provided a hilariously inappropriate answer.
Thursday’s episode of the long-running game show featured a contestant named Tavaris, who buzzed in to venture a guess at a ‘Phrase’ puzzle.
This was during an early $1,000 toss-up round, where the random letters appear and the contestants must buzz in to solve the puzzle.
The four-word answer had no letters turned in the first four-letter word, the first letter I in the second two-letter word, the first and third letters T and E in the third three-letter word and the first and fourth letters B and T in the last four-letter word.
Tavaris rung in and guessed, ‘Right in the butt,’ which caused the audience to gasp and laugh, while another contestant exclaimed, ‘What?’

Tavaris rung in and guessed, ‘Right in the butt,’ which caused the audience to gasp and laugh, while another contestant exclaimed, ‘What?’
Tavaris’ eyes widened as he put down his buzzer, as others in the audience continued laughing, particularly since ‘right’ is five letters and the first word in the puzzle is just four letters.
Another contestant, Blake, thankfully came up with the correct response: ‘This is the best.’
Tavaris clapped and turned to Blake and joked, ‘Much better answer,’ as the game continued.
When it came time for host Pat Sajak to introduce the players, he was still giggling from Tavaris’ off-color answer.
‘Well, Tavaris, you’ve already made an impression on us,’ Pat said, as the contestant apologized.
‘I apologize, Pat. I was a little excited,’ as the longtime host added, ‘We’ll figure out a way to handle that tastefully. I have no idea what that’ll be, but…’
Earlier this week, the 77-year-old Sajak – who is in his 43rd and final season hosting Wheel of Fortune before Ryan Seacrest takes over – had another embarrassing fail.
Contestant Brittany Collins – a children’s hospital facilitator from Kentucky – had what most would consider a very easy answer, with $11,200 on the line.

The three-word puzzle had AN_T_ING IS POSSI__E revealed, though Collins asked for an R, as the audience audibly groaned.
‘I’m sorry, there’s no R,’ Sajak said, turning to the next contestant, Susan Meissner, from South Carolina, quickly guessed correctly: ‘Anything is possible.’
The host briefly praised Susan’s efforts before trying to explain why Brittany may have not been able to come up with that answer.
‘Sometimes you’re sitting at home, and you think, “I know that,”‘ Sajak explained.
‘It’s a funny thing – sometimes, it just doesn’t want to come in to focus, and then we move on to the next round,’ he continued.
